What will you learn in the Jam Session course?
1. Essential (and easy!) theoretical foundations for improvising in any situation.
Don’t worry - it doesn’t require complex or mathematical theory.
2. Practical training in improvisation and creating beautiful solos straight from your head.
You’ll learn to create solos, using your existing skills, and applying tricks used by experienced musicians.
3. How to create jam session opportunities and how to navigate them.
You’ll learn how to approach other musicians, what to say and ask, how to join in, and how to behave during a jam.
4. A live, hands-on jam session experience with me and a guest guitarist.
We’ll have a jam session together - you, me, and a talented guest guitarist - pure fun!
5. You’ll get jam backing tracks + chord progression sheets.
Until you find other musicians to play with, you can practice improvising over the backing tracks - and once you do find musicians, you’ll have ready-made chord progressions to share so they can accompany you!
